Role Overview: The Radiologic Technologist Lead provides specialized imaging of body parts for medical interpretation, ensuring high-quality radiographic images while minimizing radiation exposure and maintaining patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic procedures and operate fluoroscopic equipment as instructed.
- Prepare contrast media and process images for PACS.
- Ensure correct patient identification and accurate indication of body parts on images.
- Assist in training student technologists and demonstrate technical skills.
- Manage radiographic requests and support quality imaging standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology and NJ radiology license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA required.
- Preferred: minimum of two years radiology technician experience.
