Role: Occupational Therapist providing patient-centered care in inpatient and outpatient settings across multiple locations.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and supervise COTAs and rehab technicians. Monitor patient progress, modify treatment goals, and ensure documentation accuracy. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. May serve as a clinical instructor and participate in professional development activities. Ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient care aligned with organizational standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current license by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners and BLS certification. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75-100 pounds, prolonged standing, and fine motor skills. Strong communication skills, clinical competency, and commitment to professional growth are essential.
