Role Overview:

The Outpatient Pharmacist – Specialty provides pharmaceutical care in a retail outpatient setting, focusing on complex medication therapies for specialized disease states. The role involves collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure safe medication dispensation, reviewing clinical data, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The pharmacist will deliver in-depth patient counseling and education on specialty products, oversee team performance, and manage work assignments.

Qualifications and Skills:

3-5 years of experience in pharmacy practice
PharmB, MScPhm, or PharmD degree
Current Maryland Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain one
Strong knowledge of clinical data review and medication safety
Excellent patient communication and team leadership skills
