We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in infusion, hematology, and oncology settings.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct patient care, evaluating outcomes, and adjusting nursing interventions accordingly
- Managing chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments, ensuring safe handling and administration
- Performing comprehensive assessments, including psychosocial and educational needs
- Monitoring and managing pain, educating patients and caregivers, and coordinating discharge plans
- Demonstrating proficiency in IV therapy, vascular access, and diagnostic procedures
- Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, infection control, and regulatory standards
- Documenting care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record and participating in ongoing education
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred skills and experience:
- Oncology or infusion experience, including IV and phlebotomy skills
- Certification in oncology or chemotherapy/biotherapy
- Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC and phone triage
- Ability to perform complex procedures and manage medication safety
