Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care for ambulatory patients in specialized clinics, including Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Aorta, with supporting roles in other clinics. Responsibilities encompass pre-visit preparation, direct patient care, education, care transitions, and documentation. The RN collaborates with healthcare providers, supports nursing practice across settings, and demonstrates leadership through mentoring, preceptor roles, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Duties:
Qualifications & Skills: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Excellent communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills are required. Valid RN license and BLS certification are mandatory, with additional state or specialty certifications as needed.
