Role: The Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner provides high-quality respiratory and diagnostic services across various clinical areas, supporting inpatient, emergency, pulmonary diagnostics, and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments, perform diagnostic tests, deliver respiratory treatments, manage airway and ventilation support, and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans. Support pulmonary diagnostics, rehabilitation, EEG, and NCV testing as needed. Maintain equipment, document care accurately, assist with patient transport, discharge planning, and participate in clinical rounds and emergency response teams.
Qualifications: Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care program, with an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred). Must hold an active Maryland license, NBRC registration, CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications (ACLS within six months). PALS preferred. Strong knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, equipment troubleshooting, and proficiency in Microsoft Word required.

Compensation: Hourly rate ranges from $34.62 to $57.19, based on experience and role scope.
