Seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) for a 25-bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI. The role involves outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and preventative care with a rotating ER call schedule (4-6 nights/month, weekend rotation every 4th or 5th). The physician will diagnose, treat, interpret tests, and manage prescriptions, collaborating with staff to ensure quality care.
Responsibilities include staying current with medical practices, using EMR systems, promoting effective communication, and being on call for emergencies. Requirements include US board certification, WI licensure or active pursuit, DEA, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS (PALS and CALS preferred).
