Seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician (MD or DO) for a 25-bed critical access hospital in Shell Lake, WI, serving rural communities for over 70 years. The role involves working four weekdays at clinic locations with rotating ER call (4-6 nights/month, weekend rotation every 4th or 5th). Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating injuries and illnesses, interpreting tests, and managing prescriptions, along with ER and inpatient rounding. The physician will participate in staff meetings, utilize EMR, and collaborate to ensure quality patient care. Requirements include board certification, WI licensure, current DEA, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS.
