Role: Registered Nurse in the Medical Telemetry unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based care to adult patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions.
- Manage continuous telemetry monitoring and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support patient and family education to promote understanding and engagement.
- Precept and mentor new staff or students as needed.
- Contribute to quality improvement and safety initiatives within the unit.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current valid RN license.
- Experience or knowledge in cardiac and medical telemetry nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality care.
