Role: Addiction Counselor
Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered outpatient counseling to individuals with opioid use disorders
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions
- Coordinate medication-assisted treatment in collaboration with medical staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support relapse prevention efforts
- Educate clients and families about treatment and recovery processes
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and behavioral health principles
- Experience in counseling, assessment, and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting dignity, recovery, and community reintegration
