This position involves providing inpatient pediatric care in a post-acute setting for children recovering from serious illness or injury, supported by nurse practitioners and subspecialists.
Deliver family-centered, high-quality care while leading a multidisciplinary team.
Oversee patients in pulmonary rehab, feeding therapy, and complex medical needs, including technology dependence and discharge planning.
Provide in-house coverage during day, night, and weekend shifts.
Collaborate with providers for safe transfers, support family goals, coordinate care, and plan complex discharges.
Offer medical consultation for behavioral health patients and foster an environment of excellence and leadership.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (JCAHO, HIPAA, etc.).
Qualifications include MD/DO, board eligibility/certification in pediatrics, licensure in Massachusetts, PALS certification, and experience with complex pediatric cases preferred.
